Dr. Hermann Pirela has over twenty years of experience in the medical field. He is a member of the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Venezuela (SOGV), the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), the Latin American Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FLASOG), and the Venezuelan Association of Ultrasound in Medicine. 

Dr. Pirela received his undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela as a Medical Surgeon (1997) and Specialist in Gynecology & Obstetrics (2004). He then continued his education at the Centro-Occidental Lisandro Alvarado University in Barquisimeto, Venezuela where he received a diploma as Ultrasound Specialist (2005). 

Dr. Hermann Pirela’s interest in the field of medical aesthetics originated in 2009 when he received training in Minimally Invasive Vaginal Surgery & Reconstruction of the Pelvic Floor by the highly-recognized Brazilian Urologist Dr. Paulo Palma, at the Hospital of Clinics Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela. He then collaborated with the highly recognized Venezuelan Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Gianbattista Piletti, performing facial and other reconstructive medical and aesthetic surgeries. Since then, Dr. Pirela has performed numerous successful reconstructive aesthetic surgeries, becoming one of the pioneers in this area of expertise. 

In 2012, Dr. Pirela brought his years of expertise to the Royal Oak Clinic in Calgary where he received training in the area of Family Medicine. Thereafter, Dr. Pirela was certified as an Advanced Medical Physician and successfully established Innovative Aesthetics Solutions. 

Dr. Pirela has become a nationwide trainer for InMode Ltd., a globally recognized medical device company. His new role allows him to support fellow Physicians, Nurses and Aestheticians by sharing best practices and offering insights from his decades of experience. He also provides private one-on-one and group training courses across Canada. He is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the field of Medical Aesthetics through his ongoing personal training and teaching of his methodologies to other practitioners.
